Sunwater Institute Senior Advisor, Mark Cohen, recently provided testimony before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary–Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property and the Internet.

Cohen discussed intellectual property and strategic competition in U.S.-China relations. He argues that Americans should be concerned about how intellectual property rights are currently regulated and governed. He informed members of Congress about the importance of transparency with China and how a lack of transparency will affect patents, scientific publications, manufacturing, custom intelligence. Cohen highlights how these deficiencies will affect the U.S. negatively in the future.
