Sunwater Institute’s Congressional Reform program is excited to announce its new partnership with James Madison University’s American Political Reform and Innovation Laboratory (APRILab). As part of this collaboration we are also excited to announce that APRILab’s Director, Dr. Tim LaPira, will be joining the Sunwater Institute as an External Scholar.

Sunwater’s Congressional Reform program conducts theoretical and applied research aimed at improving Congress’s institutional knowledge, processes, and efficiency. The program strives to take lessons from its academic research projects to develop practical tools, analytics, and datasets that are leveraged by Congress itself.
