Webinar Event: Measuring Congress’ Performance and Productivity

August 20th | 9:00am to 12:00pm | Zoom Webinar

The Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress has worked diligently to modernize the legislative branch. It has passed resolutions in the House that may create meaningful improvements in the administrative support, education, training, and technology that will be available to members of Congress and their staff. However, the future of this committee is not guaranteed and there is much work left to be done. The Sunwater Institute and the R Street Institute will be hosting a series of virtual panels and roundtable discussions on three key questions:

  • What defines a productive and effective member of Congress?
  • What defines a productive and effective Committee and leader?
  • How can data be deployed to foster congressional reform
